Director of Demand Generation

Your mission
As Agorapulse's Director of Demand Generation, you will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer. You will be responsible for scaling Agorapulse’s Global and Regional Demand Generation Marketing Teams, driving strategy, setting priorities, expanding capability, growing a world-class team, and delivering on ambitious revenue goals. 

You will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing online marketing strategies, and communicating marketing plans, OKR’s, KPI’s and ROI on a regular basis, while building awareness and positioning for the Agorapulse brand. Your responsibilities will span performance marketing channels, country-specific marketing (France, UK, USA, Canada, Australia, and DACH), events, and affiliate and agency marketing.

On a daily basis you will be responsible for the strategy and execution of marketing programs for our specific Ideal Customer Profiles (Marketing Agencies, eCommerce, B2B), and the Personas within each profile, that generate and nurture leads across channels with the specific goal of creating a pipeline that converts into recurring revenue. You will collaborate closely with the Sales Development team and the RevOps team and with your peers in marketing and sales to run effective and creative campaigns. We're looking for someone with experience in designing aggressive, market-leading programs for SaaS companies, a track-record of meeting pipeline generation goals, and passion for repeatable processes that scale, and desire to outperform our competition and a collaborative work style. As is the case for our entire team, one day you’ll wear your strategy hat, the next day you will be in the weeds of getting work done.

What you will do:
  • Work with the Executive, Sales, Product, and other key teams across the company to set and execute the roadmap for Agorapulse’s short- and long-term growth plans.
  • Guide the prioritization of demand generation initiatives as the initiatives and teams scale.
  • Develop and measure the effectiveness of Agorapulse’s marketing approach and implement improvements as required – heavy emphasis on the ability to interpret and organize data to drive decisions and shape strategy.
  • Determine the KPIs and work with RevOps to build the dashboards that each functional area of the Demand Generation Team needs to execute effectively in the context of the larger functional goals.
  • From our ICP, account segments and personas, develop and orchestrate creative demand generation programs that build awareness, generate leads and engage our target buyers.
  • Ensure programs are tailored to our account segments and key geographical markets.
  • Develop creative, engaging and integrated paid and organic programs, in collaboration with content marketing to generate new logos and cross-sell pipeline.
  • Work closely with our Sales Development Team Lead to ensure alignment between our two teams and achievement of meeting goals for the business. 
  • Improve operational processes and reporting related to demand generation programs to measure effectiveness, performance and ROI of marketing spend.
  • Create effective training on growth-related topics such as SEO, SEM, funnel optimization, digital marketing, and other related areas in order to ensure all of the relevant stakeholders are properly educated on how to infuse growth tactics into their content, initiatives, and products with maximum impact.
  • Build financial forecasts and projections that relate to the cost and return on investment for experiments, both large and small.
  • Provide thought leadership, strategic insight, and clear communication (written and verbal) to your team and the organization on the company’s growth strategy.
  • Provide executive-level transparency of demand generation and marketing results in weekly, monthly, and quarterly views.
Your profile
  • Demonstrated experience in demand generation with Marketing Agencies, or B2B SaaS organizations, or eCommerce organizations, or any combination thereof.
  • Experience working closely with an outbound sales team.
  • Master at developing, executing, and measuring innovative and results-focused demand programs and campaigns.
  • Strong analytical ability, specifically related measuring programs and ROI.
  • Proven ability to work closely with content marketing and product marketing to ensure you have the assets you need to run successful programs.
  • Exceptional project management skills and superb attention to detail.
  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation and CRM systems (we use Hubspot).
  • Experience marketing to marketers
  • French language skills are also a plus, but not essential.

The location
  • The position is remote and preferably based on the East coast of the United States or Canada. CST can work too.
