Your mission
We are seeking a Senior WordPress Developer responsible for both back-end and front-end development of our marketing website, Agency Scout website, corporate blog, Social Media Lab blog, and future web products and projects. This position requires a combination of programming skills (namely PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript), basic dev-ops skills (use of Github, git actions, deployment configuration, understanding of CI/CD, resolving conflicts, linter) and aesthetics (understanding element arrangements on the screen, the color and font choices, and so on).
The candidate should have a strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems and be experienced working in Agile methodology. Experience with responsive and adaptive design is also required. Overall, the candidate should have a comprehensive understanding of the web development process, be mindful of design requirements at all times and estimate the effort of their work to align the expectations of all stakeholders. .

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Designing and implementing new features and functionality
- Establishing and guiding the website’s architecture
- Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the platform environments
- Negotiating with Designers so as to formulate an effective, responsive and dynamic solution.
- Manage a small team of developers and coordinate continuous improvements on the existing pages.
INITIAL EXPECTATIONS (FIRST 90 DAYS)
- Attend weekly webdev meetings to update team on progress and identify obstacles
- Promptly move top and high priority items from To Do to testing to production
- Proactively bring new ideas and improvements to the team that will increase site performance and improve the user experience
- Take complete ownership of the development process, from beta to prod
